AATMA ✦ عتمة is an open alliance that was formed as an emergency response in Berlin in October 2023. Circulating in many languages from Arabic to Sanskrit and German, “aatma” is a term that speaks to, on one side, state obfuscation and, on another, an entity, interconnecting life. As an acronym, AATMA ✦ عتمة might stand for “Anti-fascist Art Techno and Music Alliance عسعسة و تكنو-سياسة وموسيقى مضادة للتعكسر”.
