The in Iran born and in the Netherlands raised, Hani, has been working in the culture and music industry for over a decade. Due to the lack of representation both in the workplace and among attendees, and the great need for a community where diverse and unheard stories can be emblematic of its members, almost two years ago, he started the radioshow 'Diaspora Radio' with co-founder Moody Mehran. A monthly radio show on Echobox Radio where they invite professionals from creative industries to talk about their stories and experiences as SWANA-diaspora in their workplaces and them growing up as individuals part of the diaspora - to exchange stories that are unique to children of migrants/political and war & conflict refugees. Since last year, they have also been organizing multidisciplinary cultural events and club nights with Diaspora Radio.
