As a cultural driver of critical art festivals, Schoolmeesters has been a player in the Amsterdam field for years and creates maximum free space for people with free spirits. He moves between politics, art and activism and presents unexpected views within social relations. Currently he is policymaker at the Cultural Defense Line of Amsterdam, project leader of Het Groene Veld, co-initiator of Free Cultural Spaces Amsterdam and initiator of the Interest Group for Breeding Places in Amsterdam.
