Jaap has been a partner and senior advisor at STIPO since 2019. In 1997 he started at the Project Management Office of the municipality of Amsterdam and subsequently worked as head of Bureau Broedplaatsen for sixteen years. He uses these experiences at STIPO for assignments such as Werken in Wijken in Rotterdam, which involves making more affordable workspaces available for SMEs. In his work at STIPO, he likes to link the planned city with the spontaneous city and works with creatives, city makers and entrepreneurs to create a liveable city.
