Selçuk Balamir is a designer, educator and organiser working on postcapitalist politics, commoning practices and climate justice campaigns. He co-developed disobedient actions (Climate Games, Shell Must Fall) and co-initiated housing cooperatives (NieuwLand, de Nieuwe Meent). His PhD in Cultural Analysis is on postcapitalist design. He was the 2022 Artist in Residence at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, and currently teaches New Earth (eco-social design) at Willem de Kooning Academy.
