Together as experienced designer and architect, and organizers of FOEF CLUB, a recurring queer club event, Eva and Emma Hoogenboezem run an initiative on Spatial Social Safety in nightlife. By merging user research with spatial design, they design environments tailored to both the practical more obvious user needs and the more indefinite, sensitive or emotional ones. With this they aim to foster intersectional and diverse experiences that are positive and meaningful, within the crucial spaces of the night.
