Isis van der Wel is chairman of the CAWA, the advisory committee on artist housing and workspaces for the Mayor & Alderman of the Amsterdam Municipality. Next to that she is board member of the Amsterdam Arts Council. Isis is the former Night Mayor of Amsterdam and since more than 30 years professionally active in Night Culture as a dj. She furthermore works as a curator, producer/composer and performer and is an active community member of the free space artist community of Ruigoord.
